Get ready for your Chapter Challenge with these practice questions!

What is the difference between a 2D and 3D object?

Two-dimensional shapes, like polygons and circles, take up area, a space on a flat surface (like a plane). 2D shapes have width and length but no height. Shapes in three dimensions (3D) have volume; they take up space and have width, length and height, thickness or depth

Is a sphere a 2D or 3D shape?

3D

What is an equilateral triangle?

A triangle with 3 sides with EQUAL lengths
