How much is 45/100 out of 1000?

450. To make the fraction 45/100 have the denominator of 1000, you have to multiply both the numerator and denominator by 10. This way, they have the same denominator. After converting, you see that the fraction, 45/100, with a denominator of 100 becomes 45/1000. They are still equivalent!

What is 6/10 + 7/100?

67/100. Our first step is to identify that the denominator 10 can be multiplied by 10 to be 100. This means we also have to multiply our numerator by 10! When we multiply both the numerator (6) and the denominator (10) by 10, we get 60/100. Now, all we have to do is add it to 3/100. Since both fractions have a common denominator, you can add them like you would normally add two numbers. 60/100 + 7/100 = 67/100.

What is 0.6 in its simplest fraction form?

⅗. To convert a decimal to a fraction, you multiply the numerator and the denominator by 100. This allows you to see the fraction out of 100. When you multiply the numerator 0.60 by 100, it becomes 60. This is 60/100. The next step is to simplify this to its simplest form. We covered this in unit 3! To simplify it, we have to divide it until it can not be simplified anymore. The simplest form of 60/100 is ⅗.
