Unit 2

Practice Post!

Try out these practice problems to review Unit 2!

Question 1: Round 3.456 to the nearest hundredth.

It is 3.46 this is because the 6 in the thousandth place means that we have to round the 5 in the hundredth place up 1, so our answer is 3.46

Question 2: What is 2.16 + 4.90?

It is 7.06, good job! When you write it out, make sure to line up the decimals with each other!

Question 3: What is 11.3 - 4.9?

It is 6.4! Make sure the decimals are lined up when you subtract and then just subtract like normal. When you are done subtracting, just place the decimal in a line where the first two decimals are.
