Question 1: What is 1/8 + 3/4?

It is 7/8! When adding fractions we need to find a common denominator. In this case, it is 8. 1/8 already has a denominator of 8, so we just need to focus on 3/4. To change the 4 to an 8, we just need to multiply by 2, but be careful! Whatever you do to the bottom you also have to do to the top. So we multiply both the top and the bottom by 2 to get 6/8. 1/8 + 6/8 is 7/8.

Question 2: What is 2/3 - 1/4?

It is 5/12! The least common denominator is 12. To convert 2/3 into a fraction with a denominator of 12, we must multiply top and bottom by 4 to get 8/12. To convert 1/4 into a fraction with a denominator of 12, we must multiply top and bottom by 3 to get 3/12. Then, we have 8/12 - 3/12, which is just 5/12.

Question 3: What is 1/6 x 1/2?

It is 1/12! To solve this, multiply the top numbers ( 1 and 1) and
