Volume and Measurement

Unit 6

Practice Post!

Try out these practice problems to review Unit 6!

Question 1: How many inches are in a foot?

There are 12 inches in a foot!

Question 3: What is the volume of a cube with side lengths of 3 meters?

It is 27 cubic meters! Using the formula V = l x w x h, we just multiply 3 x 3 x 3 to get 27!

Question 2: Convert 267 centimeters to meters.

267 centimeters is the same as 2.67 meters! To get that, we see that meters is a unit measurement, and it is 2 spaces left of centimeters (as shown in the chart in Unit 6!), so we move the decimal 2 places to the left.
